About Us: |
Wendy Wilson |
My family originates from the Scottish Borders, and there has always been a strong connection to the wool industry. I live and work in Ardnamurchan and Morvern on the west coast of Scotland. I have always enjoyed knitting, which developed into my own Scottish knitwear business in 1987, formerly trading under the name of Claggan Crafts, which started with a range of wildlife designs, mainly inspired by the natural wildlife of this area |

I make hats for fun – My family and I moved here from Grenada in the West Indies several years ago |

I moved to the Ardnamurchan area in 2001, after making so many visits that it became easier to live here and travel to other places as required. I became involved in photography after finding an old camera in a junk shop, and falling in love with the whole process. |

As a young child growing up in Aberdeenshire, I was always struck by the splendour of the Scottish Highlands. I set up Happy Highlanders to produce cards which are based on original paintings by my husband Peter. Glasgow born Peter is self-taught and has been living and working in the Highlands of Scotland for nearly thirty years. During his time in this area, the wonderful scenery and the unique lighting that characterises this beautiful part of the world have inspired him, and I now want to share his work with you. |
Cissy Bulley |
I spent many years living in Tobermory, Isle of Mull where I ran the Corner Shop with my husband, and was also a crew member on the Lifeboat based there. Despite having to leave the Island, I have very strong family ties with both Mull and Strontian, and visit every holiday with a view to returning to the area in the future. I have recently been gainfully employed as a singer in various bands, but now concentrate on song writing and crafts at home. I have been knitting for many years and I also make bags, patchwork and enjoy sewing. |
We hope you like the small selection of Scottish crafts and knitwear we have so far, but don’t forget to keep checking us out as we will be adding products to the website over the coming months. Wendy Wilson |
